Hospice

Gus was moved to Hospice today. He is no longer improving. His kids tried to keep him home, but he is pulling at all of his tubes and has removed his oxygen. Hospice agreed that he is nearing the end and it is time – we have every confidence that they will keep him comfortable.

Hospice personnel are wonderful…like angels on earth. I have always been amazed at how knowledgable they are about their profession. They are so good with both the patient and the family, and have both’s interests in mind every step of the way. They have all my respect and admiration. Gus is in good hands!
    Prayers continue for you all…
